About

BACP registered counsellor and coach

Hello, I’m Rachel I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor and coach. Whatever has brought you here, welcome. I hope I can be of service to you in your journey of healing and growth.

I work with young people and adults from diverse backgrounds and draw on different tools and modalities to best suit each individual according to their needs. Talking forms the foundation of my work, but I weave in many practices, such as play, art and mindfulness. I also use movement at times to drop deeper into the wisdom of the body and work with it as a means of gentle enquiry and expression.

10+ years experience

I hold a space of compassion, curiosity, presence and non-judgement where my clients can explore all parts of themselves safely to bring greater awareness and integration into their inner and outer worlds. Meaningful transformation always begins within, and I firmly believe that contained within our unique life challenges also lies the medicine we need to heal and flourish. I provide an opportunity to explore this possibility as a companion and guide.

I work collaboratively so that we go at a pace that is right for you, empowering you to make your steps toward greater wellness and self-acceptance.

I bring ten years’ experience as a qualified youth worker, working with vulnerable young people from wide ranging communities and in a variety of settings, both in the public and third sector and nationally and internationally.

Developing my professional practice and deepening into my own healing and spiritual path have intertwined and profoundly taught me of the potential we all have to tap into our innate resources and gifts to transform our lives, whatever challenges we are facing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Discussing serious traumas or patterns have felt as easy as these conversations could ever get - kind of like sitting down with one of your closest friends, but also being aware of getting genuinely unbiased, wise, well-informed and clear guidance to process anything discussed.  She was able to understand and be sensitive about cultural differences as someone not from the UK.
